On behalf of the committee of the club, I would like to wish all members a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and of course Injury Free New Year!
I would like to take the opportunity to once again say welcome to the new members who have joined us during 2017, thanks for sticking with us to our returning members and a warm hearted farewell to those who have sadly left us including our very own Club Secretary, David Oak whom we miss dearly.
Thank you everybody for the fantastic support you have provided in 2017 that has enabled us to make such progress together as a club. With our continued expansion, 2018 will be a very important year for us. The plans for the new clubhouse have been submitted and we hope to get the green light to commence build early in the New Year. I’d like to once again thank members for their patience and we look forward to sharing our new facilities with you.
We are building your clubhouse for you to use. You can help us turn our dream to reality with your continued support. With the expansion of the club we have taken our 2018 memberships online to make it easier for you (and us!) to maintain your memberships – please can I kindly ask that you pay your 2018 membership as soon as possible to help our cash flow.
If you thought 2017 was a good year for our club events then look out 2018! Our prestige events team constantly challenge themselves to improve our events, grow them in size and continue to maintain our first class reputation. As we keep saying, our events wouldn’t be a success without the help of our members – either by entering or volunteering. Your participation and support in 2017 has been second to none and we appreciate you have lots of other commitments, but I know we can rely on you to do your best when you can as we go into 2018. We want to make sure you know how grateful we are for your ongoing support.
I look forward to celebrating a year of many successes and proud moments with many of you at our annual presentation evening.
Here’s to 2018!
