The major project of the 2010 decade was the building of the new clubhouse. There was a portacabin in the Port Talbot Cricket Club grounds which the Harriers had used for a few years. It was dilapidated and chairman, Bernie Henderson, initiated the plan to build a new clubhouse on the site of the portacabin in 2016. To cut a long story short, after a mammoth effort in fundraising, a clubhouse to be proud of was eventually opened in 2018 at a cost of close on £49000.
Port Talbot Harriers also expanded its membership rapidly during this period. This was largely due to the ‘Have Fun and Run’ campaign and, towards the end of the decade, the formation of the multi-sport section under the guidance of Darren Vaughan.
