With November in the history books, we now look ahead and enjoy the festive season in full swing with Santa runs and pudding races coming thick and fast! But we had to end November and start December in the right way and that’s certainly what we did.
Gwent XC / West Wales XC Championships in Pembrey
The John Collins Gwent Cross Country League Fixture 3 was held at Pembrey Country Park. The weather stayed dry, but there was certainly that chill in the air. Our men’s and women’s team did brilliantly, again collecting more fantastic results! Both our teams continue to strengthen their grip in their respected divisions. With the women’s team in division 3 holding down place in the league and our men’s team in division 2!
Samantha Earle Completes the Lanzarote Half Marathon
Sam Earle did some warm weather training in the sunny Lanzarote. And by training, we mean putting in an incredible time during the Lanzarote Half Marathon!
Buff Wales Trail 10k in Afan Forest
A fantastic event, put on in the beautiful Tonmawr mountains! Team PTH went out in force and saw just exactly what those hills had in store for them.
Garry Evans Completes the Narbeth Nobbler 10k
One of the most truly unique races around! A 10k race in the pitch black, with a headtorch to lead you to the finish line. One of the best around and something very different from normal road races! Our member Garry Evans took on the challenge and put in an impressive time.
Parkrun: More Top 3 and PBs Galore
We had another week of Parkrun tourism both local and far! Swansea, Gnoll, Porthcawl and Maesteg saw most of the action. But Team PTH also went to Worcester, Llyn Llech Owain and Rogiet to spread some magic!

- Scott Elvins finished 2nd Place at Gnoll Parkrun
- Rachel Monks finished 3rd Female at Gnoll Parkrun
- Geoffrey Bradley had an awesome PB at Gnoll Parkrun
Swansea Bay Parkrun saw quite a few 5k PBs and course PBs despite the windy conditions along the seafront!
